1. OWNER:

Saban Ljumic, the owner of Cafe Pastry Shop Palma is a highly qualified master in the field of pastries. Saban started his brilliant career as an intern in one of the most prominent Cafe Pastry Shops Oloman, where he soon became the leading master.

He has been broadening his knowledge within the field nationally and internationally. He has grown into a successful business man and a top-line master for modern european pastries.

2. TRADITION:

Palma was founded nearly 40 years ago in Sarajevo as the first privately owned pastry shop. Its reputation broke the city limits fast and Palma soon transformed into modern meeting point.

In 1985 Palma became a member of CD - Code Diplomatique Consulaire.

3. PERSONNEL:

Team Palma consists of about 50 employees. 12 of those are master chefs who contribute to a production of Palma's own cakes, pastries, and other specialties.

4. ASSORTIMENT:

The assortment is continuously being improved with new innovations.
Currently there are:
19 types of hot, cold, and chocolate beverages.
27 types of natural and refreshing beverages.
38 types of frapes, sundaes, and ice-cream specialties.
23 types of exclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages,
including Bacardi Legendary Cocktails.
24 different cakes.
34 different biscuits.
7 choices of breakfast.

5. MATERIALS AND BUSINESS:

We never compromise quality! All our products are made of materials of highest quality thanks to our business partners and deliverers from around the globe.

6. ENVIRONMENT:

Architecturally, Palma is in harmonious environment that enables everyone to choose an intimate corner or a more spacious and visible seating.

There are 623 seats, out of which 384 are outdoors facing south. The part indoors consists of smoking and non-smoking galleries.

During hot weather the fountain serves also as a coolant, while 95% of the seats can be covered with parasols.

7. PRODUCTION CAPACITY:

Palma uses 240 m2 equipped with most modern machinery to enables a production of thousands cakes, biscuits, and other specialties.

  • 1970. Palma was founded.

  • 1987. Set-up of the fountain, now equivalent to a trademark of Palma.
